Art and Music Third Thursdays
Thursday, March 19th
Visual Stimulation provided by TR (Tom Roughton), a performing artist who paints live with music acts, bands, DJs, etc. Using found "canvases" he combines and expresses all the elements of a show, the music, the lights, the people, and the whole experience. Max Shepard is a designer who has been working on manipulating technology, such as old TV sets, as to make them respond to sound and music. Martz is a motion graphics designer experimenting with music responsive projections.

It was an evening of great music and creative talent that took us back to the era of the Cotton Club. The jazz era show featured Bertha Young, Melva Houston and the Joe Robinson Quartet.
