The History of the Broach Building- home to Studio B and The Broach Theatre- goes back to its construction in 1927. The building was originally established as a post for the Salvation Army and remained one for nearly 50 years.
Purchasing the property in 1987, Allen Broach recognized the potential of the space to be a part of downtown Greensboro’s renaissance. Extensive reconstruction of the building’s former photography studio took place in 2008 with the new Studio B emerging as a versatile and stylish metropolitan venue for special events.
